Ruqyah Myths Seminar

In this seminar we look into the myths and superstitions that are prevalent today amongst Muslims, on the subject of Jinn possession, Sihr, Black Magic, Ruqyah and Exorcism practices. The seminar below is divided into 5 chapters and tries to shed light on some of the most contentious points on this topic. Is Jinn possession real? Do today's exorcism practices have any basis in hadith? Is Sihr a myth? The seminar took place on the 19th January 2025.

Chapter 1 - Introduction

Topics: Introduction to Br. Yasin. Different perspectives on Ruqyah globally. Clarity of hadith. How superstition can form.

Chapter 2 - What is Ruqyah
